New Business Account Executive



Location - Negotiable

About the Company:

Innovative, forward thinking Lloyds Insurance Broker that provides a high quality service and product to their growing national and international client base, putting clients at the heart of everything they do.



About the Role:

Build you own book of business and manage your own clients, attend meetings and manage relationships. Work successfully with the support of Account Handlers, Claims Team and an Accounts team.

The ideal candidate will have a free reign on developing their own commercial account, preferably within the local market but certainly not restricted by geography or trade.



Key Duties:

* Develop commercial/corporate insurance in the local or national arena
* Providing relevant and adequate commercial risk information
* Reach and exceed new business targets
* Drive new business initiatives to deliver to budget
* Generate new business revenue for the group
* Deliver new business revenue line
* Generate new customer contacts and clients
* Operate in accordance with FSA compliant company agreed processes
* Ensure smooth and thorough handover of clients to broking teams post acquisition
* Reach and exceed new business targets
* Maximise new business revenue stream from personal activities
* Autonomous role so must be able to manage your own time efficiently
* Maintain and improve quality of personal prospect activities
* Maintaining relationships with clients and internally
* Generate and create new business ideas and techniques in a compliant framework.
* Support is offered by way of a MTA team, renewals, team, accounts department, claims department



Key Experience:

* Track record in Commercial Insurance
* Motivated self-starter with proven experience in a similar role
* Experience in growing a book of business / business development



The salary will be negotiable with a generous commission package in addition.
