Reed Finance are proud to be working again with a Canterbury City Centre client in search of a Qualified Project Accountant to join their progressive Finance team on a permanent basis as part of a European joint-venture project.

Supervising the Accounts Assistants and directly report into the Head of Accounts The key accountability's of this role;

Support the Finance function in the Control, Banking and Financial Accounting processes and other areas as required.
Preparation of monthly management accounts, from basic transactional level up to finalised accounts, ensuring all relevant accruals and journal entries are posted and reflected accurately.
Contributing to the development of the financial controls framework to ensure a robustly controlled financial environment.
Assist with the review of payments of vendor invoices for the company on a weekly basis.
Assist with the preparation of monthly hedge payments and other finance related payments.
Assist in the preparation of cashflow forecasts and funding requests.
Prepare the monthly bank reconciliations.
Support with requests from internal and external audit.
Support with statutory accounts preparation.
The ideal candidate will:

Be a Part/Qualified CA
Have excellent interpersonal skills
A working knowledge or current experience using SAP
