CNC Machine Operator

Whitstable

Our client, an established manufacturing company based in Whitstable, are currently looking to recruit a CNC Machine Operator to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis.



The role will be paying circa £10-£10.50/hr and will be on a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.



The successful candidate will be operating CNC machines whilst maintaining a high standard of production.



As the CNC Machine Operator, you will…



* Operate the CNC machine and other machinery used in the production process
* Read and understand component drawings, process specifications and standard operating procedures
* Inspect components through the use of various equipment e.g. measuring machines, contour machines, surface finish equipment, calipers, micrometres, height gauges and dial test indicators



Person Specification:

* Experience operating CNC machinery
* Must understand engineering drawings and have knowledge of different materials
* Must be a proactive individual willing to work as part of a team to improve productivity and efficiency
* Flexible schedule is required; this position requires shift work
