I am working exclusively on a rare opportunity for a Head of Global Sales and Marketing within the Ashford are.

You will be responsible for owning, developing and leading the Sales and Marketing strategy to achieve the business goals.

You will prepare the global marketing plan and report on performance to the board and stakeholders.

The role will also involve planning and managing strategic development to the website ensuring PPC and SEO is fully optimised as well as keeping the website platform state of the art.



Key responsibilities and tasks:



* Develops and manages a clear and concise marketing plan for online sales and that is achievable and drives sales growth
* Develops a comprehensive revenue generation pipeline drawing on all available channels that will help deliver the Company's revenue targets in line with budgets and strategy.
* Design and development of marketing strategy which delivers on Company Brand and new business development goals.
* Create Sales Level Agreement to deliver optimal cadence for sales and marketing.
* Optimise Sales funnel to improve the generation of sales from quotes
* Develop lead generation tactics that will enhance direct contact or contacts through resellers
* Develop tactics to improve customer retention and re-ordering
* Enhance communication between teams to encourage regular feedback and actively work together to establish better rapport with high potential leads through optimised sales funnel strategy.
* Develops full-funnel content as aligned teams to create content for both pre-funnel social selling and sales collateral to drive sales conversion.
* Identifies current and possible future trends, possible opportunities and necessary corrective actions from reported data which may require the marketing plan to be further refined
* Recruit members of the Sales & Marketing team with talents that complement the existing team while fulfilling the resources necessary to achieve the marketing plan
* Develop and inspire existing members of the Sales & Marketing team to make them and effective and dynamic sale driven unit



Qualifications:

* Educated to Degree level or higher, in a Business or Marketing subject, or equivalent experience.
* Full clean driving license.



Competencies & Experience

* 5+ years global marketing and sales leadership experience
* Experience of championing and driving change initiatives throughout an organisation
* Strong track record in leadership skills to engage and manage marketing team
* Great analytical skills with experience of reporting ROI
* Outstanding written and verbal communication and literacy skills internally and externally at both board and operational levels
* A solid commercial acumen and desire to be part of a senior leadership team for a growing and expanding business



Personal Attributes

* Pro-active, self-motivated, energetic and self-driven in working style and approach
* Confident communicator with proven effective listening skills
* Ability to engage and influence with credibility across all aspects of business and market analysis, cross-culturally and articulate and present clearly

* Highly organised individual able to prioritise with exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task

* Business knowledge - sound grasp of the company's plans and operating environment with ambition to positively influence this.
