My client, a respected manufacturing SME in mid-Kent, is looking for a dynamic part or newly qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA, or qualified by experience, Finance Manager to bring commercial knowledge and add overall value to the company.

This company has had a phenomenal amount of success and growth over the last few years, creating room for this new position.  The role will involve overseeing and getting involved with the transactional side of finance on some days and reporting and liaising with major stakeholders the next.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparation of management accounts as well as analysis and reporting to stakeholders
- Taking responsibility for month end
- Monitoring cash flow and producing forecasts and budgets
- Provide insightful management information for departmental managers
- Preparation of VAT and tax returns
- Leading projects that affect the whole company
- Providing leadership, costing, and analysis
- Overseeing and taking part in transactional duties including purchase ledger invoicing, payroll processing and credit control
- Ensuring the finance systems are running smoothly and efficiently

As this is a hands-on position you will ideally be experienced dealing with all levels of finance and be ready to get involved and guide the company towards continued success.

Ideally you will be qualified or qualified by experience and have a background of working in SMEs with hands on, rounded roles, and show the ability to efficiently lead a finance department.
