The Junior King’s School seeks an enthusiastic and well-qualified part-time teacher to cover the teaching of history up to Year 8 for the first half of our summer term. Experience of teaching history previously would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have a clear understanding and proven experience of working effectively with pupils, parents and staff. They will support the learning of children within the classroom as well as with their general welfare. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent interpersonal and team-working skills and a strong interest in pastoral care are needed for this role.
The successful candidate will be expected to play a part in the life of our busy school. The ability to offer an activity after school would be desirable.
The King’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
