Due to business development, we are looking to recruit an additional Accounts Assistant who will work closely with, and support, our two Credit Controllers. This is a new role in the team.
The successful candidate will:
• Reconcile the previous day’s cash transactions and card receipts
• Post till receipts
• Carry out the daily bank run
• Administer weekly and monthly direct debits
• Run reports
• Assist in the maintenance of the Debtor database
• Keep the vehicle insurance database up to date
• Assist Credit Control and Bought Ledger
• Carry out additional ad hoc tasks as required
You must be able to work well as part of a team, have good communication skills and be comfortable dealing with staff at all levels. We are looking for an individual who is well organised, resourceful and – importantly - flexible with good IT skills and an eye for detail.
This is a full-time position, which could suit someone with existing experience or indeed anyone looking to start a career in Accounts.
