Production Controller- GERMAN SPEAKING

My client, a global company, a well respected market leader within their field are looking for an organised and numerate German speaking Production Controller to join their fast paced team.

The general purpose of this role is to ensure the on-time and to budget delivery of all components required for each project.

Key duties include:

* Making purchasing decisions that are cost-effective and within budget reporting any incidences where this is not possible
* Proactively managing the project throughout: coordinating dates and deliveries; ensuring that enough time has been allowed and being aware and one step ahead of any changes as the project continues;
* Submitting reports for all supplier failures/errors and following compensation/complaint process
* Proactively check the next day deliveries and collections to identify delays and react accordingly
* Work collaboratively with management and the wider team to predict and prevent problems
* Building and maintaining great supplier relationships to ensure the best service
* Identify, voice and report on cost reduction opportunities
* Assist with new product development
* Contribute to accurate quotation of projects in support of future business

This right candidate will have/be:

* Solid experience working within a busy construction environment
* Multi-lingual, German speaking as a minimum
* Strong project management skills in planning, scheduling and controlling
* Excellent numeracy skills
* The ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
* Confident and assertive personality.
* Ability to work both individually and within a team
