1:1 Teaching Assistant Job, rural location close to Canterbury, long-term to the end of the academic year

Your new school
An Ofsted rated "Good" primary school in an idyllic rural location are looking for an Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a reception aged child with challenging behaviour. The school has a real community feel, being an integral part of local village life for well over a century. The school staff are highly supportive and have a real inclusive ethos.

Your new role
This role is working primarily on a 1:1 basis with a reception aged child with challenging behaviour. You will be passionate and driven, who aspires to encourage and help children with Special Educational Needs develop. You will be working alongside the schools SENCO and other specialist's, previous experience would be desirable and tangible evidence to support this. Previous experience support Special Educational Needs would be desirable but not essential.

What you'll need to succeed
Given the location of the school, you must be able to drive. You will need a positive and outgoing personality who is passionate and driven to support children in their learning and adapt the curriculum when necessary for this. You will need a Teaching Assistant NVQ and have experience within the classroom for this. An understanding of special educational needs is desirable and any previous experiences to support this. You would need to be available up to Christmas. We have part-time, full-time and long-term/short-term options available.

You will be paid £65-80 per day, dependent upon experience.
