Year 1 Teacher – Gravesend
Pay depending on experience – Full-time or Part-Time – Immediate Start


Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a Primary teacher comfortable teaching a Year 1 class, to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. This role is on a temp-to-perm basis, with a permanent contract being offered to the right candidate. The school in question will look to hold interviews ASAP.

The staff and Governors work together with the parents to provide the children with a broad and balanced curriculum. This includes a range of educational visits, sports tuition, workshops, theatre productions and lessons in swimming, French and music. This provision is in a safe, stimulating environment where the needs of all learners are catered for regardless of ability, faith, age, race, disability and gender.

The Role
• Teaching the Primary UK curriculum, with focus on Year 1
• Planning and Marking responsibilities
• Job Sharing for a Part-Time Candidate
• PPA Cover responsibilities (if required)

The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have previous experience teaching UK Primary KS1 curriculum, Year 1 would be highly desirable
• Have previous experience teaching in UK Primary schools to KS1
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
