Caring Choice Support Services and Activity Centre Ltd provide day care facilities for adults (18+) with learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge. We believe that all people have the right to live an independent, full and active life. Everybody has the right to privacy, dignity, independence, choice and self-expression.
We are currently looking to recruit a support worker who believes in these values too. If you have a caring attitude, happy disposition and would like to help make a difference, we would like to hear from you.
To be successful in your application, you will be required to demonstrate the ability and confidence to handle complex behaviours/needs. Applicants are also required to have experience of working with adults who have learning disabilities. Ideally, you should hold an NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care, although this is not essential as training for this qualification can be offered.
In return, our working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. You will also receive 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
