Due to the Development and expansion of Nexus Programme LTD we are currently recruiting for a Service Manager at our Residential home in Charing near Ashford.

Our 4 bed Residential care home for Adults with Autism, learning disabilities and complex needs is looking for a Proactive, experienced Manager to lead the Staff and Support the needs of our Service Users.

This is not a Monday to Friday 9 to 5 opportunity as the service delivery is 24 hours a day, 365 days due to the nature of the people that we support. The role involves shift work and weekends are also included in the role.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

• Full driving licence due to the location of the home and access to a vehicle
• Level 5 Diploma in Adult Residential Leadership and Management or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social care and the willingness and ability to progress on to and achieve a Level 5 Diploma in Adult Residential Leadership and management.
• 5 years Residential adults with Learning Disabilities experience within a supervisory role.
• A good knowledge of the KLOES
• Experience of CQC inspections
• Up to date training relevant to the industry
• Good command of the spoken and written english word
• Supervision and Appraisal delivery
• The Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of different people from Service Users, Parents, Social Workers to Commissioning.
• Can use Microsoft Office and its associated packages such as Excel and Powerpoint.
• Financially astute and have Budget management experience
• Work within a team and Lead the staff team
• The ability to participate in an On-Call rota system for the home.
