About the role: Hartley Primary Academy have a fantastic opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Bank Staff / Relief Nursery Assistant to join our highly collaborative and supportive team. This role is pivotal to our success in the classroom and provides a great deal of support for our teachers, therefore our successful candidates will be able to establish strong working relationships with staff and students alike. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team, be reliable and excellent communicators. This is a great role for those seeking flexible working during Term Time only and who are keen to be part of a fantastic primary school! You will agree to the days that you are available, however, may be contacted for staff absence, school trips and particularly busy periods. This role is on a paid-on-claim timesheet basis, with the candidate required to start as soon as possible.

Today, it is part of Leigh Academies Trust and provides primary education for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 11. Our school is set in beautiful grounds in the middle of Hartley, the charming Kent village. We believe in – and celebrate – success at all levels and in all fields. The pursuit of excellence within a culture of enjoyment and positive approaches to learning is our key to success. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training providers and a large teaching school.
