THC Primary Care is a fast-growing Consultancy specialising in primary care across London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex with our offices based in Whitstable. Please see www.thcprimarycare.co.uk Currently, we are supporting over 200 general practice surgeries through the development of Training Hubs Primary Care Networks and GP Federations.

Job Role We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Personal Assistant to support both professional and personal day to day tasks.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support and will play a critical role in ensuring the MD’s day runs smoothly, maintaining a high level of efficiency and dependability. You must be professionally presented and personable, showing initiative and a sense of urgency to achieve results.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong secretarial skills supported by proven PA experience. You should be professional, patient, organised and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality is also essential for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their ownership and reliability as a professional Personal Assistant seeking to work in a growing organisation and fun office environment.

This is a busy role with a lot of diary and email management.

Main responsibilities include:

• Diary and email management.
• Responding to enquires via social media.
• Organising and attending meetings along with taking meeting minutes.
• Preparing and monitoring financial information.
• Processing expenses.
• Proofreading.
• Compiling newsletter information.
• Creating databases and email circulation lists.
• Supporting the preparation of progress updates and action logs for clients.
• Maintaining governance documentation for clients.
• Keeping abreast of the various work streams.
• Acting as the main point of contact for enquiries.
• Keeping the Managing Director organised.
• Organising, lunch and other personal errands.
• Other tasks to be agreed.

Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent to include Maths and English

Experience of working in a team
Strong IT Skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel packages
Excellent written and verbal communication
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload

An understanding of the NHS

Strong IT skills are a must. An overview of the IT we use is below: Currently, we use four email addresses, the bookkeeping software Xero, the meeting invite tool doodle, MailChimp, Eventbrite, the project management tool Asana, Grammarly, LastPass, Wix, Zoom, LinkedIn and Twitter.


Attention to detail and proofreading We write documents that sometimes go out to over 200 practices, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Health Education England and NHS England. Every document has to be error-free and read well. You need to be my second pair of eyes. The documents we write can be lengthy and repetitive, but you need to read every single word thoroughly and carefully.

The other stuff

We offer a NEST pension.
28 days holiday plus bank holiday.
5 days holiday must be taken over the Christmas period.
