Accounts Payable and Receivable Co-Ordinator Maternity Cover | Mid Kent | £20-24K
Our client, a successful and well-established business based in Mid Kent is seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable and Receivable Co-Ordinator to join their small finance team and support the Deputy Financial Controller. Working within this small team the role will take responsibility for managing the purchase ledger function and the following accountabilities:
• Processing of invoices (approx. 200 weekly)
• Batching, matching and coding invoices
• Preparation of weekly Bacs runs
• Processing of cheques
• Setting up new accounts
• Maintain all accounts receivable transactions
• Produce an aged debtors report
• Cash flow forecasting
• Daily banking
• Ad hoc duties as required
Candidates will have strong purchase ledger and accounts experience with the desire and ability to take on wider responsibilities within the finance department. Strong attention to detail and a pro-active approach will also be key.
