Barker Munro recruitment Ltd have a number of roles for experienced Motor Claims Handlers to join a leading and innovative insurer to pro-actively handle a varied portfolio of third Party motor claims.

The third party claims handler role will involve managing a claims caseload which will include Credit Hire, Property Damage, Indemnity, Liability, Third Party risks. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and responding promptly and pro-actively to incoming telephone calls and correspondence by use of telephone, e-mail and letter. You will be required to control claim cost by achieving most economical settlement, through good use of liability and quantum arguments and effective negotiation. You will also need to ensure that any fraudulent or potential large loss claims are identified and appropriately referred

We are seeking applications from experienced Claims handler who have had exposure to some of the following cases - Credit Hire, Property Damage, indemnity, Personal injury and/or Liability. Strong customer service and communication skills is essential as is the ability to manage and prioritise own workloads.
