D&D Autos (Ashford) Ltd would like to invite any qualified MOT Testers/ Vehicle Technicians to come and take a look at our facilities with the view to joining our expanding operation in Ashford, Kent.

Recent success in the Top Technician national final, in which our senior diagnostic technician was named runner up, is just the latest in a string of regional and national awards, and highlights the quality we are looking for.

With the fast-paced evolution of technology in the motor industry, forward-thinking is crucial at D&D Autos. We will look to support and encourage you in your on-going training so that you can be a first-rate technician.

You will enjoy working in our well-equipped, state-of-the-art premises, which has two dedicated drive-through MOT bays as well as 13 workshop bays.

If you are a qualified Class 4 and Class 7 MOT tester who can meet the challenge of working on multiple brands as part of an award-winning team, get in touch.

Skills required:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent standard
- A valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
- Four years’ experience in a motor vehicle workshop
- Clean, full UK driver’s licence
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Highly organised and capable of multi-tasking to meet deadlines
- 'Customer care' mentality
- Effective team player
- Ability to learn new software efficiently and effectively
- Ability to use initiative and judgement promptly, with minimum supervision
