My client is a Maidstone based Financial Services business, part of a larger Blue Chip group with a nationwide presence.

This permanent opportunity would suit an individual with substantive statutory accounting experience within a large practice or large organisation; ideally within the financial services sector.  

You will be responsible for a variety of statutory and cyclical reporting and analysis.
On a monthly basis the consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital. You will deal with the exception reports, follow up on ledger mis-posts and monthly verification file. On a Quarterly basis you will prepare the interim financial statements, investor reports, quarterly audit consolidation, submit Office of National Statistics forms and assist with acquisition and disposal accounting and business transfer reviews. Annually you will prepare year end consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow, net asset analysis and stat ledger reconciliations. You will assist in the preparation of notes to the financial statements.

Applications are sought from candidates possessing financial control, statutory accounting, group consolidations, UK GAAP and IFRS experience.  You will be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified, with first class IT and analysis skills, with the ability to extract meaningful business information from the data.  Financial modelling skills, with well defined excel capabilities to macro level are required.
