German Speaking Credit Controller

We are looking for highly professional candidates that speak fluent German and English that have experience within an office environment
Salary: Circa £21,742.53

Hours: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm

Location: Dover

We are currently for a German Speaking Credit Controller to work with the Freight team of our very successful client based in Dover. Training will be provided for this role.

The Role:

• To pay on receipts to relevant customer accounts and allocate per remittances
• Direct Debit file production and distribution where required
• Maintain customer records within the finance system as appropriate
• To promptly investigate and resolve customer queries
• To ensure all arrears are fully collected in line with legislation
• To utilize Finance system and PC based software in order to review progress with Credit Control Team and/or Manager

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Reconcile individual customer accounts regularly
• Allocate payments to customer accounts per remittance
• Resolve issues regarding invoices, pricing, lengths etc
• Network externally to develop a continuous knowledge of the marketplace to help anticipate future trends and remain up to date with external developments
• To collect monies due in timely manner to maintain or reduce D.S.O’s

Key skills and experience:

• Ability to speak fluent German and converse fully in English
• Good level of IT skills
• Experience within a call centre or customer service environment would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant experience within an office environment
