Teacher of Drama role to start January 2020 in a fantastic secondary school in the Swale area

This school in the Swale area, has been rated as "Good" and going from "strength to strength". They are looking to recruit an ambitious Teacher of Drama. The school have a fantastic department who are hardworking and committed to raising standards and achievements of all their pupils.

Your new role

As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils and be confident in your abilities to teach Drama to GCSE level. You will be required to carry out all Planning/Marking & Preparation. The school is looking for an exceptional Technology teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for pupils of all diverse backgrounds. In addition to working well with students, you will also be able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to working within a school environment and with other members of staff. To be considered you must have QTS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be confident, creative & have the ability to drive all pupils to reach their full potential while having a passion for teaching Drama and the creative arts. You will have extensive subject knowledge. You will hold QTS in a relevant subject. You must have recent experience within last 2 years in the classroom, and be committed, positive and enthusiastic.
