ACT are looking for an experienced person to control our small accounts department on a day to day basis. Applicants must be experienced in all facets of bookkeeping and general company requirements and be able to manage, Banking, vat returns, payroll, purchase and sales ledgers, chasing debtors, liaising with creditors, Invoice discounting, annual returns and general compliance as well as other matters such as company insurances, renewals etc.
Must also be fully conversant with sage line 50 and sage payroll as well as Microsoft office products such as word and excel.
This is a permanent position that could be flexible on total hours per week, of around 24 hours.
The successful applicant will be working, on your own and at times, with a senior supervisor and external accountants also and must have excellent communications skills both verbally and in written form. A minimum of 10 years previous experience is required. You will also be required to provide good verifiable references.
