Fantastic opportunity to join an established and successful independently owned business in Medway as HR Manager.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage a team of three and work alongside the Senior management team.

Responsibilities:

* Overall provision for Human Resources and training across the buisiness
* Leadership and coaching of a team of two to three
* Recommending innovative practices to develop the culture and engage the workforce
* Coaching and developing managers in all aspects of people management
* Ensuring disciplinary and grievance processes timely to achieve objectives and support and advise where required
* Drive a high performance culture, ensuring that people management processes are completed to drive employee engagement
* Ensuring that all training records are accurate and up to date and development plans are in place
* To provide professional knowledge, advice and support to the management team
* Manage the time and attendance system for all employees and train new employees and managers in the usage of the system
* Managing the recruitment process for the business
* Reporting of management information including employee turnover, absence and manning levels and preparation of monthly reports

You will have/be:

* CIPD qualified
* A graduate with a 2:1 or above in a relevant subject
* Have excellent proven interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels
* Positive and proactive, happy to manage an ever changing workload and work closely with the SLT in order to deliver their company goals
* Innovative, confident and passionate
* Exceptional strategy and leadership skills
* An excellent working knowledge of employment law
* Previous experience of leading a successful team
* Experience of working in a manufacturing and or unionised environment would be highly advantageous
* A proven track record of success in HR Management
