Our client is an outstanding independent school based in a very desirable area of London. The school prides itself on providing an award-winning education and first-class pastoral care. They are now looking to recruit a permanent Head of Finance.
This position could suit someone who is looking to take the next step in their career i.e. Management Accountant, or Finance Manager. Ideally you will have experience working within education but applications from the private sector will be entertained.
Due to the nature of the role you must be professionally qualified; CIMA or ACCA.
As Head of Finance you will play a strategic role in the management of the school and will be responsible for key areas such as:
- Financial Planning, Management and Reporting
- Accounting and Governance
- Payroll
- Procurement and Contract Management
- Income Generation
As Head of Finance you will provide financial support to the school`s Senior Leadership team and their Governors. You will also assist in providing guidance to the Governors on financial and administrative systems, audit and charity accounting matters.
