An exciting opportunity has a risen for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a highly reputable charity based in Dover as a Management Accountant.
The primary purpose of the Management Accountant role is to provide timely monthly management accounts and to communicate this effectively throughout the organisation.
The successful individual will join the Management team within the business and be part of the companies' strategy to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working knowledge of charities SORP and experience of producing year end accounts and preparing for audit.
* Support the Chief Exec in budget development, budgetary control, forecasting, and financial modelling.
* Meet with Chief Exec and Chairman of the Board to monitor performance, investigate variances and develop forecasts.
* Take a lead role in preparations of the annual financial statements in accordance with the Charities SORP and liaising with external auditors and compiling year end schedules for the annual audit.
* Management accounting experience, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
* Knowledge and experience of Charities SORP Essential
Person Specification:
* Experience working within a charity. ESSENTIAL
* Knowledge and experience of Charities SORP ESSENTIAL
* Excellent IT skills with advance excel Essential
* AAT Qualified preferably however QBE will be considered.
Salary depending on experience.
