JOB TITLE: Finance Analyst

LOCATION: Ashford

SALARY: £45k

START DATE: Immediate

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm

JOB PURPOSE: To support the Central Finance Manager with the management accounting, planning and forecasting activities in the department. With direct responsibility of BT and Customer Function finance support and team, this role will also act as a deputy to the Central Finance Manager in all other areas, as required. Ad-hoc projects roles will also form an element of this role, as required by the Finance Director, Operational Finance.

YOUR DUTIES WITHIN YOUR ROLE WOULD BE:

* Development, implementation and ownership of MPR reporting, budgeting and the reporting of key KPI's, develop reporting by area/location
* Highlighting any areas of concern, to enable more effective management of working capital
* Review of robust Budgets and Forecasts with Senior Leaders of BT, Digital and Customer Functions
* Provision, analysis and interpretation of weekly and monthly reports to enable performance to be monitored and enhanced
* Weekly flash and monthly forecasts of the P&L costs
* Close liaison with Customer Function Director and BT senior management to help identify trends, new opportunities, under performance and such other issues as may enhance the performance and profitability of the business
* Involvement in finance support for UK/European projects as required to support senior management
* Management and mentioning of staff
* Develop business cases for projects, track project delivery and carry out post implementation reviews

WE'D LOVE TO SPEAK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

* Qualified with a recognised professional Finance qualification
* Advanced level MS Excel skills
* Knowledge of SAP and BW / MIS would be advantageous
* Extensive experience business partnering BT functions
