Estimator / Surveyor

Our client, a growing Facilities Management company, are looking to appoint someone with experience of commercial building surveying, who fits the company's culture and ethos, so they can continue to provide excellent service standards and maintain high client satisfaction.



As a Surveyor / Estimator, you'll need to have experience and an understanding of the following:

* Pricing a variety of works for your own in-house specialist engineers, including plumbers, electricians, multiskilled engineers etc
* Industry experience within commercial buildings, costings works etc
* Components of commercial buildings and the ability to describe the constructional elements
* Identify any specific site issues and record as appropriate
* Fire risk assessments
* Advise clients on projects and determine requirements.
* Organise documents for tender and quotation
* Advise on the management and supervision of maintenance of buildings



To be considered for the role of Estimator / Surveyor, you must have:

* Sound technical surveying knowledge demonstrating growing experience and ability.
* A logical and practical mind.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* The ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Negotiation, presentation and report writing skills.
* The ability to analyse problems in order to identify solutions.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to ensure that you are adding maximum value to clients' businesses.
* The ability to take on high levels of responsibility with enthusiasm and motivation
* Able to demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and professionalism



You will also have:-
