Farrer Barnes is currently working with a well known household name based in Kent.  This business has recently expanded rapidly and this has left a requirement for a new Finance Manager to join the team and report directly into the FD.

The responsibilities of this role include:

- Preparation of the monthly management accounts pack.
- Calculation and posting of month-end journals.
- Daily funding and merchant settlement reconciliations.
- Cash flow forecasting and general treasury management.
- Supervision of management accountant responsible for accounts payable and treasury.
- Maintaining fixed assets registers and investor funding schedules.
- Initiating and approving bank payments on two banking systems.
- Updating the finance department processes and controls manual.
- Assistance with the year-end audit and annual financial statements.
- Covering the duties and responsibilities of the management account in their absence.

This business is a fast paced, exciting company with a fantastic atmosphere and a very desirable working environment.  The right candidate for this role will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 3 years PQE, ideally they will have man management experience and will be able to deputise for the FD as and when necessary.
