An exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant exists within our rapidly expanding yet established business based in Sidcup, Kent.
We are looking for someone with loads of enthusiasm and drive to work in our busy office on a full-time permanent basis. Due to the growth the company is experiencing there is scope for progression. The package includes AAT study support so would suit someone who is looking for a career in finance or is part way through AAT.
The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for sales and purchase ledger processing and will assist the Management Accountant with the preparation of Management and Financial accounts.
We are looking for someone who is computer literate on all Microsoft Office packages, who has experience of Sage Line 50 and can learn our bespoke Service/Customer Management System.
Key duties:
• Processing sales invoices
• Posting sales receipts
• Assisting with credit control
• Processing supplier invoices
• Processing credit card & petty cash payments
• Assisting in preparation of supplier payment runs
• Assisting with preparation of monthly and financial accounts
• Responsibility for the accounts email inbox
• Reconciling bank statements daily and updating cashflow forecast
The package includes 25 days annual leave plus bank holiday and study support.
