Reporting to the Head of Underwriting duties include:

* Working closely with Insurer, Partners and Clients to ensure contractual legalities are adhered.
* Monitoring and reviewing the impact of different product specifications and whether this treats customers fairly and meets their needs.
* Handling internal and external general underwriting queries
* Embracing and driving change to continuously improve business processes.
* Proactively researching market trends and factors that could influence the business loss ratio
* Steering and influencing the business loss ratio
* Client and Insurer MI Reporting and analysing results
* Proactively investigating business trends and patterns
* Reviewing and developing forecasting models
* Working closely to steer business and scheme performance

It is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role with excellent analytical skills. You will be confident and competent working with large data on excel, tableau, or similar visualisation and programming tools. Experience within insurance is desirable.
