My Client is the sole manufacturer of their product in the whole of the UK and their parent company is the world's leading manufacturer. They are now looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Shift Production Manager to manage and develop the shift team of Production Technicians and Supervisors, including taking responsibility for performance management and appraisals to achieve expectations.

The Role: Shift Production Manager
Responsible for day to day operation
Ensure the good operation of the plant, running the plant at the highest performance level

Ensure the supply of raw materials
Continuously drive performance for all department indicators on the plant

Work with the Process Engineers on process related
Carry out a plant visit daily and attend the weekly management walk around
To order raw materials, in conjunction with the supply chain team,
To be available outside of office hours in order to resolve operational problems
Be responsible for internal plant transfers
Maintain and develop all Business measurement tools

Run or act as a key member on projects across the plant
Maximise production department assistance with new product development and process related issues
Maximise plant and equipment for both quality and performance

Skills / Experience /Qualifications: Shift Production Manager
Engineering or Chemistry Degree
Proven Management experience/qualifications
Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma qualifications (Black Belt )
NEBOSH General Certificate
First Aid at Work Certificate
Microsoft Office skills (ideally including VBA programming)
