Do you love teaching English?
I am working with A Secondary school in Dover who are looking for a permanent KS3 English teacher.
What you'll need to succeed
You will teach KS3 students and be responsible for developing the students and guiding them on ways to improve. The role will require planning and preparing lessons, as well as setting appropriate homework and coursework and have regular contact with students.
In order to succeed as a Secondary Teacher you will need to have qualified teacher status, or be looking to complete your induction year. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. If you are a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times, I would like to speak with you. Secondary teachers will need to have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to other members of staff and people in the school.
