Position: Trust Management Accountant

Rate: £18.70 - £19.70 per hour (PO2 at inner London range £36,486 - £38,403)

Our client is a group of schools based in the London Borough of Lewisham.

Due to an internal restructure they now require a Trust Management Accountant to join them in December. The role will initially be offered on a Temp to Perm basis.

The Trust are just beginning the transformation of finance so, it`s going to be a real opportunity to develop for a high performing individual.

Main Role:

You will support the Director of Finance & Operations with the key areas being across the Trust and its schools.

Monthly management reporting
Reforecasting and explanation of variance
Budget preparation and supporting documentation
External financial reporting (LA, ESFA etc)
Systems and controls development / Finance procedures manual / Audit process management

Qualifications/Training:

Ideally you will be ACCA or CIMA qualified, candidates who are close to qualifying will be considered.

Previous experience within an Education setting is preferred for this role.

The Trust currently uses Access Education Budgets (formerly HCSS) and Access Education Finance.

Rate: £18.70 - £19.70 per hour (PO2 at inner London range £36,486 - £38,403)
