Kitchen Assistant

£8.25 Per Hour

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to work for our client, a residential home based in Faversham, on a temporary basis.

The successful Kitchen Assistant will be working 5pm - 9pm, alternate weekends and bank holidays. This role will be paying £8.25 per hour.

Duties & Responsibilities

* To assist in the preparation and production of food.
* To carry out washing up duties promptly and efficiently.
* To carry out regular general cleaning of the kitchen.
* To assist in serving evening meals to the residents at the care home.
* To maintain high standards of health, safety and hygiene, ensure a clean and safe environment.

Personal Specification

* Experience of working within a catering service i.e. education, restaurant, café, nursing / residential home.
* Ability to provide a good standard of general hygiene and kitchen safety.
* Knowledge of H&S and Kitchen routines is essential.
* Knowledge of COSHH is beneficial.
