An exciting new position has become available for a Quality Specialist to join a large organisation based in Medway.
Duties include;
* Conducting, hosting and coordinating inspections of the organisation and its suppliers
* Maintaining process quality control and best practices in align with risk management
* Ensuring product testing and manufacturing data support release
* Identifying risks in line with business activities and recommending best practices
* Participates in special projects and perform other duties as required
* To support the implementation of the QMS processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards to maintain both QS and Product Licenses and approvals
* Adhering to cold chain compliance program of work, ensuring that temperature mapping and verifications are routinely performed and where needed improvements to processes/activities
* Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to maintain technical documentation and services to ensure their products / services meet Henry Schein quality standards
* Actively support continuous improvement and a consistent Quality Management culture within Henry Schein and subsidiaries
* Assist with marketing practices, tenders and data protection compliance
The successful candidate will be / have;
* Minimum of 2 years Quality system / Engineering experience
* Qualified in an A Level education / engineering degree / Bachelors degree in Regulatory Affairs or related fields
* ISO 13485 quality management experience
* Process validation / Risk management trained
* Experience in communicating with regulatory bodies and hosting compliance inspections
* A good knowledge of medical devices/ Pharmaceutical and distribution practices
* Ability to extract, manipulate and analyse data to use as a key input for driving improvements and business performance
