Our client Local Authority in London are looking for a Project manager to improve performance in income collection and debt recovery.


The Project Manager will lead this work and will have extensive recent knowledge, experience and a demonstrable track record of:
* Generating income from optimising revenue collection and debt recovery in Local Government
* Council tax, business rates, housing, general debtors and Parking
* Multiple debt collection processes, a view of single debt approach
* Recovery mechanisms, including legal action
* Debt analysis, segmentation, bad debt provision
* Implementing new recovery processes - including bailiffs
* Appropriate fee maximisation
* Working with stakeholders at all levels to agree, establish and deliver a strategic approach to improving collection rates
* Strong commercial acumen, with knowledge and experience of engaging the debt and financial services market
* Working with and supporting service managers to design and deliver innovative and sustainable service improvements
* Designing and authoring high quality project deliverable for executive stakeholders
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to achieve consensus between senior stakeholders
* Engaging and coordinating stakeholders at all levels in the organisation and dealing with strategic issues and operational details
* Knowledge / experience of relevant technology opportunities and its practical application.
