Job Summary:
We are seeking a woodworker to join our small team as a replacement to a fellow colleague who is sadly us leaving to retire.
You should be a practical person who enjoys a hands-on role. Experience with carpentry or woodworking is a must. Confidence to work or learn to use, large cutting machines, sanding booths & woodworking tools is essential, training will be provided but experience is desirable.
This is a very busy department so we are looking for someone who can work well at a consistent pace & has the ability to self-manage within a workshop environment. Pro-activity, attention to detail & an understanding of quality control are a must, along with the ability to adhere to safety guidelines is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Furniture production using predominantly wood. Our furniture is simple & rustic in nature, made using reclaimed materials.
• Wood preparation and sorting when required
• Prepare orders for dispatch including packing boxes & loading pallets. When required cover leave & assist an existing warehouse operative who manages our crate dept stock & coordinates daily dispatches.
• Maintain high level of quality and adhere our product standards.
• Maintaining the workshop environment and equipment to high health & safety standard.
• Ensuring hardware stocks are maintained & highlighted for order in advance.
• On occasion assist other Salvatori warehouses with picking or unloading containers.
• Other duties as and when requested
