Sunray, are leading designers, manufacturers and installers of Steel Doorsets and Louvre products which are widely specified for Fire, Security, Blast and Ballistic Door and Louvre applications. We provide project solutions from our product portfolio to the highest quality and to exacting standards for unparalleled performance across the world, all of which are designed and manufactured at our site in Ashford, Kent.
Our technically advanced and highly skilled production facility enables us to manufacture a diverse range of products which are bespoke to order. We understand that every project is different, and therefore pride ourselves on working with our customers to provide a consultative approach and the correct product solution to conform to any given performance criteria.
Due to extensive growth of the business, we are looking to recruit Paint/Despatch Operatives within our established Team to assist with the preparation and despatch of our finished products.
Ideal candidate will have some experience within a similar environment, although we are able to provided full training to the right candidate.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week worked on a split shift over a two week period as follows: Week 1 - 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday, Week 2: 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday.
Salary: £11.00 per hour - dependant on experience
Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 Days
Pension: Workplace Pension Scheme, Employer contributes 7% Employee 5%
Company Bonus Scheme: Results based on both company and performance specific objectives, set out for each key role, but typically based on achieved performance outputs will represent 18% of the annual salary in a full year.
Main Duties:
To carry out the pre-painting preparation of all types of doors and fittings in the Sunray Industrial and Security Division product range.
To carry out the finishing and packaging ready for despatch of all types of doors and fittings in the Sunray Industrial and Security Division product range.
To carry out the loading of goods ready for despatch to the customer.
Provide production timings as required by the business.
To perform quality inspections during and after manufacture to ensure standards and procedures are being upheld.
To contribute towards the construction and implementation of continuous improvement programs on the shop floor including product, jig and fixture development.
To ensure all working practices and operation of machinery is conducted within the appropriate company or legislative Health & Safety guidelines.
Any other duties requested by Management to enable to smooth and continuous running of the business.
