Working for a very reputable private hospital who deliver high quality private healthcare services in East Kent. Performing general surgeries, cosmetic surgery, non-surgical cosmetic treatments and physiotherapy, this business is continuing to build a superior service to deliver all healthcare needs and at a service level their clients demand.

Role Requirements
Provide high quality desktop installation technical support and advisory services to users. This will include, proactively managing incidents and requests, evaluating, resolving and enabling the rapid resolution of a broad range of issues, including the testing and implementing of new and replacement hardware and appropriate software and the resolving of malfunctions.
Travel will be expected across to other sites in South and East Kent.

Position Expectations
• Act as first line support and provide technical advice, guidance and support to all end users.
• Manage the IT Asset Inventory by updating Inventory logs with purchase/set up dates and replacement dates
• Identify and assess potential process improvements
• Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders
• Maintain a log to track all support issues
• Undertake the installation of new and replacement desktop hardware and associated software
• Provide technical advice and support for desktop hardware and network configuration
• Assist with the auditing of desktop equipment and maintenance of the hardware records
• Maintain details of equipment installed and removed
• Evaluate equipment for decommissioning
• Identify or remove equipment as appropriate and complete associated administration
• Liaise with the Management Accountant to ensure the Fixed Asset Register is up to date regarding all current IT hardware
• Provide a high-quality customer service, technical advisory service and basic training to desktop users
• Ensure the resolution of problems, maintaining continuity of service, providing appropriate information and guidance
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, contactors and internal customers
• Ensure that work stations and associated hardware is appropriate, compatible and meets the needs of the customer

Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in IT Operations, Service Desk and Incident Management
• Maths and English (C Grade GCSE or above or equivalent)
• Good communications skills and attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Organised and methodical approach
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Flexible to the needs of the business
• Able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
