Purchase Ledger Clerk | Medway | £22 – 25K
Sole charge Purchase Ledger Clerk is required to join a large, privately owned business based in Medway. The purpose of the job is to support the Financial Controller & Management Accounts teams with preparing payment runs.
The role responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following key responsibilities –
• Inputting of purchase invoices
• Resolving issues with unprocessed invoices
• Reconciliation of purchase ledger to supplier statements
• Responsibility to purchase ledger email inbox (internal / external queries)
• Preparation of weekly payment run & ad-hoc payments when required
• Ensuring documents are filed accurately so that they are available when required
Experience Required:
• Previous experience in a purchase ledger role
• Excellent and considerate customer service to all
• Approachable and reliable
• Proactive attitude
• Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft products and accounting systems
