Quality Control Assistant Manager
My Client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of Moulded products, is now looking to recruit a Quality Control Assistant, to assist the manager with in facilitating, maintaining and further developing the Company's integrated management systems in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001.
The position is a hands-on role, based within the quality office. Although the hours of work are primarily during the day, it may necessitate some shift work to ensure the continuity of the quality department.
The Role: Quality Control Assistant Manager
Deputise for the QC Manager in their absence
Work with the quality personnel to ensure the effective functioning of the quality department.
Assist in facilitating, maintaining and developing the Company's BS EN ISO 9001 management system and associated processes.
To undertake BS ISO9001, 14001, 18001 and 50001 internal audits
Work with the QC Manager in programming, developing and training personnel in the Company's manufacturing and quality monitoring system 'BARCO'.
To assist the QC Manager and quality personnel in ensuring that the company's concession, non-conformance and approved suppliers systems are maintained.
Assist the QC Manager in investigating production quality related issues and complaints regarding products, etc.
To assist with quality related issues, when trials are conducted on new products/materials.
Assist the QC Manager with the implementation of new quality, environmental systems/procedures.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Quality Control Assistant Manager
Hands on Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of various plastic products - PVC etc.
Knowledge of BS standards
Excellent interpersonal skills
