IT Project manager - 6 month contract - Brighton based - £600 a day (within IR35)

The Pensions Regulator are one of the leading employers in Brighton. They are Public Sector and this role is inside IR35.

Your new role

TPR are on the lookout for a senior IT project manager to lead on IT Delivery planning and work through contingency plans in response to risks for a large business change programme.

You will need to deliver an IT implementation plan including products, resources, timescales and risks as well as manage the delivery of business continuity contingency plans. The role also includes engaging with internal and external stakeholders to identify solutions as well as delivering and maintaining key project governance products.

What you'll need to succeed


* A proven track record of successfully leading IT project teams to deliver large scale changes:

* Duration 6 - 18 months
* Budget £500k up to £1.5 million
* Matrix project team size 10 - 50
* Complexity - medium to high (from medium transactional projects up to large transformational projects)

* Experience pulling together business continuity plans to ensure continuation of service
* Highly skilled at stakeholder management and facilitation to be able to conclude discussions and develop robust solutions reaching a consensus where multiple stakeholders may have conflicting needs.
* Accredited in an industry recognised project management methodology (e.g. Prince2, SAFe SM, PMP, APM or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
* Experience working with suppliers and third parties to deliver project results
