Job Information
Plalite Ltd is a precision engineering company based in Sittingbourne Kent. The company works within aerospace, motorsport and other commercial sectors. There is currently a vacant position for a mechanical quality inspector. Previous experience within a precision engineering environment will be required. The ability to read a technical drawing, decide the appropriate measuring techniques, have an understanding of machining that went into producing the components to be inspected are all essential. The inspection department utilizes modern inspection equipment such as CMM's, a Faro Arm and Trimos machines. Previous experience of these will be an advantage.
The working environment is a well lit, temperature controlled inspection office under the supervision of a quality manager. On the job training will be available for CMM familiarity and use of other inspection instruments. The company offers excellent working conditions, competitive pay and benefits.
