ABDO is the membership organisation for Dispensing Opticians. A number of our key departments are based in Godmersham, 7 miles from Canterbury and 6 miles from Ashford.
We are looking for a suitable person to join our team of dedicated staff in the Membership Service Department.
The job role will include;
• Answering the phone to members
• Processing membership applications
• Maintaining member information on the bespoke database
• Sign posting members to other ABDO services
• Processing member subscriptions
• Assisting with photocopying, filing, etc.
For the right applicant there is the opportunity for this role to evolve to include database administration and development activities.
The personal attributes we are looking for in our new member of staff are;
• Flexible
• Friendly
• Helpful
• Good communication skills
• Work well within a team and autonomously
• Good self-motivation
• Good time management skills
• An understanding of databases
• Good IT skills
