Are you an experienced Design Engineer with proven background gained within an electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering background and seeking a new challenge? If so, we're currently recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding manufacturing company who provide their products to the aerospace and technology sectors.

The role will see the post holder take on a true engineering role - from Design Engineering, through to production planning, being involved with BOM creation, and everything in between.

The ideal candidate will be:

* Educated to HND level or equivalent in either electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering;

* Able to read engineering drawings including GA's, items lists, wiring diagrams/lists, circuit diagrams etc;

* Capable of generating CAD drawings, preferably using AutoCAD and Pro E;

* Have a minimum of three years' experience in a production planning environment preferably within a manufacturing organisation and working within an EN 9100 accredited system.

* Be familiar with manufacturing processes within an electromechanical assembly environment.

The role will see the successful person being involved on full design process for new products from concept to detailed manufactured drawings, material specification and manufactured strategy.

You will hold skills in Autodesk Inventor CAD software and PRO E preferably. Familiarity with both 2D and 3D modelling and significant experience of detailed manufactured BOMs and engineered drawings.
