Coles Group was established in the early 1980’s. It now stands as one of the few truly independent and sole trading agents left in central Kent. We are a family run company and rely heavily on employing a committed and trustworthy team of staff.

Coles Group expects its staff to be willing and able to assist with a variety of duties as necessary. You will have your main duties that you are responsible for but as and when needed you will be expected to cover for colleague’s work during busy, holiday or sick times.


Office Hours:
Monday to Friday – 9am-5.30pm (with 1 hour for lunch)
Saturday – 9am-4pm (minimum of two Saturdays a month with time in lei in the week)


Skills Required:

Good IT skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office).
Ability to learn and work with tailored systems (i.e. lettings software CFP)
Good communication and customer service skills.
Experience in a lettings position is essential.
Must have clean driver’s license.

Summary of Main Duties:

• Answering telephones
• Dealing with email queries and actioning accordingly
• Deal with maintenance administration
• Liaise with maintenance contractors and follow up with tenants and landlords
• Preparation of inventories
• Booking and conducting periodic inspections
• Carrying out check outs and deposit returns
• Dealing with deposit disputes
• Some accounts and invoicing tasks
• Tenancy renewals
• Assisting with organising gas safety inspections
• Assisting with preparation of sign up paperwork
• Assisting with post sign up packs to landlords
• Assisting with payment of rents
• Payments of contractor invoices
