Clinical Negligence Lawyer

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join a well-established law firm based in Herne Bay. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

You will need a minimum of 2-7 years’ experience as a lawyer

Predominately you will provide clinical negligence claims handling and some personal injury.

Further duties for this role include:

• Attending court appointments
• Proficient conduct of client matters
• Day to day liaison with Director
• Compliance with the office manual, policies and procedures
• Adhere at all times to the Solicitors’ Rules and in particular client confidentiality
• Dealing with the issue of proceedings including Part 8 applications
• Compliance with the company’s routine time recording, accounts and administrative disciplines
• The attainment of set targets
• Attending Litigation/PI department meetings and such training courses as determined necessary to maintain personal skills and knowledge base

• To ensure confidentiality on all appropriate matters and recognise that any breach of this confidentiality will be treated very seriously
• To have a personal development plan and evaluate the effect of training on achievement
• To clearly identify the standards and systems required to continually improve our customer service
• To agree clear objectives linked to the company’s business plan and participate in the performance management system, assessing performance and giving relevant feedback

This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced conveyancing Legal Secretary. You will be rewarded with a salary of £36,000fte depending on experience.
