Jee is a growing independent multi-discipline subsea engineering and training company operating in the global oil, gas and renewables industries. The HR team is going through a particularly high level of individual and organisational development activity and as a result they require the skills of an experienced Learning and Development Advisor on a temporary basis. The successful incumbent will support the team in driving employee retention and discretionary effort through the provision of a number of learning related initiatives.

The role is fixed term, approximately 3 months in duration and would suit an individual looking for a part time role, working between 20 and 24 hrs per week. Further flexibility regarding days and hours will be considered.

As well as providing general support to the team with the sphere of personal and group development, your key focus for the period will be:

Graduate Inductions
• Reviewing current programme pathways, processes and learning elements and related materials.
• Redeveloping materials and content for use e.g. assisting in improving presentations (e.g. technical manuals)
• Activation and coordination of the programme

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Individual Development Needs
• Executing the annual Training Needs Analysis process
• Consulting with line managers and individuals in diagnosing the correct development activity
• Delivering development solutions in a cohesive and focussed fashion

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------


Management Development Programme
• Creating materials and logistics for in-house programmes such as Management & Leadership and Finance Modules, with support and direction as necessary
• Providing general learner support and communications to ensure the modular approach (of the programme) is delivered consistently to each learner
• Administration and execution support for the 360 processes
• Stakeholder engagement, logistics for coursework project groups
• Scheduling of coaching, shadowing and mentoring sessions.

Skills & Experience
• Strong understanding of the learning and development function with at least four years’ experience in L&D, two of which should have been within a Consultant level role or above
• Experience of undertaking learning needs analysis, developing training plans and delivering focused solutions
• Internal consulting skills
• Experience of creating learning materials for in-house programmes
• Experience in scoping, supporting delivery and evaluating learning events
• Effective interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels
• Proactive, flexible attitude with the ability to prioritise workload
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly MS PowerPoint and MS word,
