We are looking for an exceptional person to join our client in Ashford as a Culinary Advisor.

You will need to have experience of product development and product demonstration within the food industry as well as good Microsoft skills to carry out administration duties.

The ideal candidate will also hold a diploma in a food related subject.

An outline of the role:

* Manage customer samples within foodservice and catering, ensure samples are created and delivered in a timely manner. Ensure samples spreadsheet is current.
* Liaise with Sales Managers to track outcomes of samples and customer feedback, in order to ensure customer feedback is followed up and informs the innovation team.
* Work in collaboration with the Innovations Manager to produce retail samples following product development.
* Engage with factory trials for forthcoming product launches.
* Assist the Innovations Manager in the creation of new products whilst maximising company efficiencies, reducing/managing costs in line with corporate development objectives.
* Conduct and complete new retail product costings.
* Communicate With Industrial Sales managers regarding product sampling, and potential Product demonstrations.
* Attend UK and international wholesale and foodservice customer food shows and exhibitions. Showcase Ardo product uses by creating recipes using the stock list from specific customers opportunities.
* Review product lines within wholesale customers in preparation for new seasons product reviews/ catalogues.
* Access and investigate current food trends through researching foodservice customer menus, making outlet visits and selected and focused online research to identify potential sales opportunities.
* Attend and support scheduled meetings with other team members to discuss plans and current projects, sharing professional views and findings to support forthcoming projects and products.

Due to the location of our client, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car as there is no public transport.
