The IT Applications Manager is responsible for the overall management of our client’s core business software applications. This role carries a diverse range of duties surrounding the full lifecycle management of applications, including liaisons with key business stakeholders, management of relationships with external suppliers, driving onward development of the application and providing high-level support in dealing with issues or problems - all with an aim of ensuring solutions deliver the requirements of the business.

Role Responsibilities for the role of IT Applications Manager :
• Provision/coordination of support, maintenance, updates and configuration of the core business applications
• To act as an ambassador and primary point of contact for core applications across the business
• Relationship management of external suppliers
• Understanding and translating business requirements into technical requirements
• Drive forward development and enhancements to the product, in line with business requests
• Prioritising requirements and ensuring these are managed with external suppliers
• Overseeing development testing and the coordination of user testing and release management
• To act as an escalation for internal business users for support related matters
• To track supplier performance issues and provide reporting to Senior Management
• To oversee day to day issue resolution and provide feedback to the business
• Identify future requirements to ensure the solutions remain fit for purpose
• To ensure that there is up to date process documentation and user guides
