MKD Steel Lines Ltd in Newington are looking for an experienced fabricator/welder to join our workshop team.
Our Company manufactures structural and architectural metal works, ranging from strengthening steelwork alterations, full new build structures, mezzanine floors, staircases and balustrades etc.
The successful applicant would need to have relevant experience in the same field and professional qualifications i.e., full apprenticeship served, NVQ’s, welding qualifications in MIG, MMA and TIG would be an advantage, as well as any trade relevant training qualifications/tickets. The role will be workshop based, however at times you may be required to go out on site, therefore CSCS would be an advantage. Working from fabrication drawings, we require a competent fabricator/welder that can work on own initiative and to a high standard.
The role will be a permanent position for the right applicant and hourly pay ranging between £11.50-£15.00p/hr dependant on experience. Your will also be required to carry out a welding test.
